On February 20, 2025, Hamas returned the bodies of 4 hostages to Israel, who were captured on October 7, 2023 from Kibbutz Nir Oz. These included 4-year-old Ariel Bibas, his infant brother, 9-month-old Kfir, their mother, Shiri Bibas (32), and neighbor Oded Lifshitz (83, nor pictured).
Their coffins were locked by Hamas so that the IDF had to break them open. When they did, they found Hamas leaflets and propaganda thrown in with the bodies.
However, the body of Shiri Bibas was substituted for another, as-yet-unidentified woman. Shiri’s fate is currently unknown.
So far, 1135 convicted Palestinian terrorists, dozens of whom were serving multiple life sentences for their involvement in deadly attacks on Israel, have been exchanged for the release of 24 Israeli hostages.
Goodbye to you
I hate you
You vile progeny of Amalek
For turning me into you.
Wanting nothing but your
Gruesome painful torturous death
As the world watches mutely
With blind eyes
Wanting your women barren
Your so-called men sterile
Each one slaughtered at the hand
Of a female warrior
So you are barred from Heaven
Wanting you erased from the face of the earth
Regaled to mere story and myth
Like the Canaanites and the Amorites
Who also arose against us
And sought to exterminate us
And lost
Wanting you to suffer and beg for mercy
From hunger and squalor and fear
To find none coming
While you writhe in agony
From dragonfire and mustard gas
Used to cleanse the land above
And the tunnels below
All too good for your ilk.
Goodbye to you.
